Faculty/staff golf club promotion at Colbert Hills

Submitted by Bernie Haney

Colbert Hills and the Kansas State University Golf Course Management and Research Foundation would like to invite you to participate in our K-State Faculty/Staff Golf Club program in 2012-13.

Colbert Hills has been rated the No. 1 daily fee course in Kansas since its inception in 2000 and we're working hard to maintain a first-class facility in our community. Colbert Hills offers an 18-hole Championship Course; 9-hole par 3 course; practice facilities, which include two practice greens, all-graff driving range with target greens, and an advanced short game area. More information can be found at www.colberthills.com.

Colbert Hills has a full service dining facility named Colbert's after K-State alumnus, PGA and Champions Tour player, Jim Colbert. Colbert's offers dinner service Wednesday through Saturday from 5-9 p.m. and lunch service daily from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Colbert Hills is owned by the Kansas State University Golf Course Management and Research Foundation which is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that promotes the advancement of golf course managment and research for charitable, educational and scientific purposes at K-State. These functions include: the operation of a public golf course, Colbert Hills, that is the home of the K-State golf athletic program; The First Tee of Manhattan; and solicitation of contributions for two endowed K-State scholarships.

This promotion is available for first-time participants of the Colbert Hills Faculty/Staff Golf Club only.

Colbert Hills is offering a two-for-one promotion if you sign up before April 15.

This means that as a K-State faculty/staff employee you would be eligible to sign up as an individual participant for the K-State Faculty/Staff Golf Club and choose a designated golfer to participate at no cost for the year. Both players will be allowed to enjoy all of the benefits of the program for this program year; see benefits and pricing below.

The obligation to receive this promotion is a one-year commitment from April 2012 to March 2013. At the end of the promotional period both players would be eligible to sign up as individuals for the next season at the going rate.

Remember, this is a limited time promotion that will expire April 15.
