Apply for the 2016 Science Communication Fellowship Program

Submitted by Michael Tobler

The Science Communication Fellowship Program is a network of certified researchers, professionals, graduate students and postgraduate students working together to connect the community to science and elevate the understanding of science related work taking part in the region.

K-State graduate students and postdocs are invited to apply for the 2016 Science Communication Fellows Program, coordinated by Manhattan's Sunset Zoo. Fellows will participate in professional development workshops to enhance their communication skills, develop a hands-on educational activity and engage the community with the educational activity at three public programs.

Applications are due May 6. More information about the fellows program is available online. Contact Jared Bixby curator for education at Sunset Zoo at bixby@cityofmhk.com or 785-587-2737 with any questions.
