New: Online designation of beneficiary for KPERS members

Now is the time to update or add a beneficiary in the KPERS portal. Effective immediately, KPERS has added functionality to the online member portal. Any KPERS member, or Board of Regents member who also has prior KPERS service, can now update his or her designation of beneficiary for retirement and life insurance by logging into his or her KPERS online member account. Changes made through the online account are effective immediately. Beneficiaries can be changed at any time.
