National Shine A Light on Slavery Day
Feb. 25 is national Shine a Light on Slavery Day. Join the K-State Freedom Alliance, an official student organization, and other freedom fighters from around the world as we Shine a Light on Slavery through social media. It's easy to participate and anyone can join us. We believe modern-day slavery — human trafficking — can end in our lifetime. Together we can end it.
How to participate:
1.) Draw a red X on your hand.
2.) Take a selfie showing your red X.
3.) Post your picture using the hashtag #ENDITMOVEMENT.
4.) Consider changing your profile picture with your selfie.
5.) Encourage family, friends, coworkers, etc to participate.
