Tickets required for Wednesday's 'The U-2 Incident and the Cold War' lecture
Francis Gary Powers Jr. is presenting "The U-2 Incident and the Cold War" at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 21, at the K-State Alumni Center. He is the son of the U.S. Air Force pilot who was shot down over the Soviet Union in 1960 and held for two years in a Soviet prison.

Powers will sign books at 4 p.m. and a reception will follow at 6 p.m.
Tickets are free, but required. To request tickets, email Brittany Beneke at firstname.lastname@example.org. Tickets also are available at Commerce Bank, 727 Poyntz Ave., Manhattan, and by emailing Sean Smith with Alliance Realty at email@example.com.
