Communicators' Brown Bag: Promoting research Oct. 15

Submitted by Deb Pryor

Join the Communicators' Brown Bag group from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 15, in the Cottonwood Room at the Student Union.

Sarah Caldwell Hancock, documentation technical writer for the Office of the Vice President for Research, will briefly present available tools to promote K-State research and the "rules of the road" for research video and photography. Hancock also will lead a discussion about boosting your unit's research content on the Web and in social media.

Ideas and questions are welcome, so come with an example of a piece of research communication that worked for you or an example from another institution.
