Navigate intellectual property at the Working With Industry workshop
Space is still available for an upcoming workshop focused on intellectual property and industry relations. Working with Industry Workshop: Navigating Intellectual Property will be from 3:30-5 p.m. Monday, Nov. 2, in the Alumni Center Ballroom.
This session builds on the concepts presented during the spring 2015 Working With Industry Boot Camp to provide a deeper understanding of the university's intellectual property policy and how the patenting and technology transfer process works.
Presenters will discuss specific intellectual property terms commonly found in industry contracts and provide sample scenarios. Participants will be better prepared to discuss K-State's intellectual property policy with corporate contacts and will learn how they can benefit from such interactions both personally and professionally.
