SafeZone advanced training: How to Support Nontraditional Students

Submitted by Anna Waugh

The Non-Traditional and Veteran Student Services will host an advanced SafeZone training session from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Sept. 10 in 111 Bluemont Hall about strategies to better support nontraditional and veteran students at K-State.

The goal of this presentation is to facilitate the nontraditional learner's transition to K-State, by providing the necessary resources to alleviate student challenges and concerns that are specific to this population. By increasing the general awareness of the issues as well as possible solutions, we can achieve this goal and improve the nontraditional and veteran student experience at K-State.
