Service interruption: Power and water outages in Dole Hall, Call Hall, Umberger Hall, Dykstra Hall and Facilities buildings

An unexpected power interruption has caused power outages in Call Hall including the Dairy Bar, Umberger Hall, Dykstra Hall and Division of Facilities buildings. The Call Hall Dairy Bar will be closed the remainder of the day. The electricity is expected to be restored by 5 p.m. today, Aug. 20, for those buildings while Division of Facilities personnel work as quickly as possible to fix the problem. The outage also affects the streetlights in the parking lot north of Call Hall but workers anticipated it to be back on before this evening.
A water main break has caused a water outage in Call Hall, Dole Hall, Dykstra Hall and Umberger Hall. Water is expected to be unavailable for the remainder of the day in those buildings.
