2015 Chet Peters Lecture focuses on understanding today's digital natives

The 2015 Chet Peters lecture, "Digital Natives, Digital Immigrants: The New Biculturalism on College Campuses," will be presented by Diane Dean at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 30, in the K-State Student Union's Forum Hall.

Dean is an associate professor for Higher Education Administration and Policy at Illinois State University and recently co-authored "Generation on a Tightrope: A Portrait of Today's College Student." 

The Chester E. Peters Lectures in Student Development Series was established in 1983 and has hosted numerous recognized professionals in student affairs. The lecture honors Chet Peters for his service to students and his impact as a student affairs professionals at Kansas State University.
