Customer Service Excellence for Student Employees offered March 18

Learning and development is offering the professional development opportunity, Customer Service Excellence for Student Employees, WTD174, presented by Shanna Legleiter, director of learning and development, from 10-11:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 18, in K-State Student Union, Room 226.

This session is specifically designed for student employees who work in customer service on a regular basis. Student employees should get supervisor approval prior to attending these sessions. Participants will:

  • Determine how to know and understand your guests.
  • Identify important behavioral guidelines.
  • Describe the difference between on-stage and backstage behaviors/conversations.
  • Commit to an ongoing customer service challenge.

There is no charge to participants, but registration is necessary to ensure adequate seating and materials. Participants may register through HRIS Self Enrollment or by sending an email to learning-develop-hr@k-state.edu. When sending an email, please include your name, department, employee ID number, course title, and the course number. Supervisors also may send an email to register student employees.
