K-State Online: Photo Roster added to Canvas

Submitted by Information Technology Services

K-State Online

A new Photo Roster feature has been added to K-State Online powered by Canvas. The Photo Roster feature is available only in the instructor view and will not be visible to students.

Photo Roster features:

  • Official student ID photos.
  • Student's degree program information.
  • Print and export options.

K-State instructors had requested enhancements in the way Canvas provides roster information to instructors. To meet these requests, Information Technology Services has enhanced the roster feature to add similar elements from K-State Online Classic.

The Photo Roster will appear in your Navigation Menu. To authorize the Photo Roster to access your account you will need to Log in. Log in is only required for first time use.

The new Photo Roster feature appears automatically in all K-State courses. If you would like to remove this feature from your course, follow the step-by-step instructions in Remove an app from K-State Online powered by Canvas.

All K-State courses need to be upgraded to K-State Online powered by Canvas by Dec. 31. To learn more about Canvas training opportunities, view the training page on the K-State Online powered by Canvas website.
