Customer Service Excellence for Student Employees offered Jan. 20

Learning and Development is offering the professional development opportunity, Customer Service Excellence for Student Employees, WTD174, presented by Shanna Legleiter, director of learning and development, from 3-4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 20, in Edwards Hall Commons Area.

This session is specifically designed for student employees who work in customer service on a regular basis. Student employees should get supervisor approval prior to attending these sessions. Participants will:

  • Determine how to know and understand your guests.
  • Identify important behavioral guidelines.
  • Describe the difference between on-stage and backstage behaviors/conversations.
  • Commit to an on-going customer service challenge.

There is no charge to participants, but registration is necessary to ensure adequate seating and materials. Participants my register through HRIS Self_Enrollment or by sending an email to learning-develop-hr@k-state.edu. When sending an email, please include your name, department, employee ID number, course title and the course number. Supervisors also may send an email to register student employees.
