Submitted by Stephanie Woods

Dr. Andrew Rich

The Staley School of Leadership Studies and the Office of Nationally Competitive Scholarships announce that Andrew Rich, the executive secretary of the Truman Foundation, will be on campus Monday, Oct. 6. He will make a formal presentation about the Harry S. Truman Scholarship program at 3 p.m. in 123 Leadership Studies Building.

The Truman Scholarship focuses on supporting individuals who seek careers in public service and is one of the most recognized and prestigious scholarship programs in the country. Interested students and faculty are invited to join Rich to learn more about the Truman opportunity and what the Truman Foundation looks for in successful applicants.

Students in their first or second year, and juniors who will still have two years remaining after the current academic year, will be eligible to apply in future applications cycles and are particularly encouraged to attend.
