Online option for mandatory anti-discrimination training launched

Submitted by Roberta Maldonado Franzen

The Office of Institutional Equity is offering an online option for anti-discrimination training, which is required for all faculty and staff on an annual basis beginning this fall semester. The office also has developed an anti-discrimination training website, which answers various frequently asked questions about the annual completion of the online training.

The training will be delivered in two phases. Beginning today, Aug. 4, all staff who report to the president, Division of Administration and Finance, Division of Communications and Marketing, Intercollegiate Athletics, Office of Research and Sponsored Programs and Division of Student Life will receive an invitation to complete the training.

All faculty and staff who report to the provost will receive an invitation to complete the training on Aug. 18. All staff members are expected to complete the training within 60 calendar days of receipt and will receive follow-up reminders until the training has been completed.

If further assistance is needed, contact the Office of Institutional Equity at 785-532-6220 or affact@k-state.edu.
