Frank Tracz guest lecturer at American Band College
Frank Tracz, director of bands and professor of music, completed an annual residency as guest lecturer and faculty recently at the American Band College in Ashland, Oregon.
Established in 1989, the American Band College is a workshop and program of studies for band directors who want to earn their master's degree in three summers or acquire continuing education credits. Tracz was among the instructing faculty and lecturers who represent 24 of the world's finest teachers in music and music education. Sessions at the college focus on rehearsal techniques, conducting, teaching, history, theory, literature and organization.
Tracz presented special sessions on motivation, leadership and band program development with world-renowned speaker and lecturer Tim Lautzenheiser.
