Recalls for June from Consumer Product Safety Commission

Mission Archery recalls MXB crossbows due to injury hazard and can fire unexpectedly. The crossbow can fire an arrow unexpectedly without the trigger being pulled, posing an injury hazard to the user and to bystanders.

Recalls travel system 26 infant car seat adaptors for strollers due to fall hazard. The plastic adaptors used to connect an infant car seat to a stroller can crack, become unstable and break during use, posing a fall hazard to infants.

Mirka recalls compact electric random orbital sanders due to fire hazard. The sander can short circuit, posing a fire hazard. 

SCOTT recalls 2014 SCOTT Speedster 30 and 40, and Contessa Speedster 25 and 35 road bicycles due to fall hazard. The steerer tube in the front fork can break, posing a fall hazard.

Weil-McLain recalls ultra models 80, 105, 155 and 230 MBH ultra series boilers due to risk of fire, explosion. A cap on the boiler's manifold can crack and release gas into the home, posing a risk of fire and explosion.

Glass bubble knobs recalled by Cost Plus due to laceration hazard; sold exclusively at Cost Plus World Market and World Market Stores. The knobs can break and expose sharp pieces of glass, posing a risk of laceration to the consumer. 

Hitachi Koki recalls pneumatic nailers due to injury hazards. The pneumatic nailers can jam and override the safety switch that permits only one nail to fire at a time, posing an injury risk. 

Big Lots recalls Wilson and Fisher brand cayman resin wicker ottomans due to fall hazard. The center of the ottoman can collapse during normal use, posing a fall hazard to consumers.

Nokia recalls travel charger kits for Nokia Lumia 2520 tablets due to electrocution hazard. The plastic cover on the charger's exchangeable plugs can come loose and separate, exposing internal components that pose an electrocution hazard if touched while the plug remains in a live socket.

Brooks Furniture recalls glider rockers due to fall hazard; sold exclusively to Kaplan Early Learning. The spindles in the glider base can separate while rocking, posing a fall hazard to the user.

Reebok-CCM recalls TCPRE senior and junior goalie throat collars due to laceration hazard. Throat collars have been decertified by BNQ in Canada due to the risk that a skate blade could penetrate the collar, posing a laceration hazard to the throat.

Linear Expands recall of personal emergency reporting system (PERS) transmitters due to battery signal failure. The batteries used in the transmitters can fail to emit a low battery warning leading the user to believe the transmitter is functioning and not generate a warning.

Stile Products recalls tern folding bicycles due to fall hazard; frames can crack. The bike's frame can crack at the hinge on the top tube, posing a fall hazard.

Winco recalls contraband 24 canister shell fireworks kit due to impact, burn hazards. The shell can blow up in the tube during firing, posing impact and burn hazards to the user and bystanders.

Coravin recalls to repair wine access system due to laceration hazard. The system can cause wine bottles to break during pressurization, posing a risk of lacerations.

Scott, Trek recall bicycles with SR Suntour forks on model year 2011 through 2013 Scott and Trek bicycles due to crash hazard. The front fork can break, posing a crash hazard.

Women's scarves recalled by Julie Vos due to violation of federal flammability standard. The scarves fail to meet the federal flammability standard for wearing apparel and pose a risk of burn injury to consumers.
