K-Staters lead national exam committee
Architectural engineering and construction science assistant professors Chris Ahern, Russ Murdock and Don Phillippi and department head Ray Yunk participated in a workshop for the architectural engineering professional engineering exam, June 19-20, in Kansas City.
During the workshop, 20 licensed professional engineers from across the country pretested the 2015 exam, assembled the 2016 exam, and wrote and updated questions for the exam bank. The exam is administered through the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying with support from the Architectural Engineering Institute of the American Society of Civil Engineers.
