Sabates appointed interim associate provost for international programs
April Mason, provost and senior vice president, has appointed Marcelo Sabates, associate professor and department head of philosophy, interim associate provost for international programs. The appointment is effective July 18 and will continue for approximately one year or until a regular appointment is completed following a national search.
Sabates has been the head of the department of philosophy since 2003. His research interests include metaphysics and philosophy of the mind.
