Title IX training available

Submitted by Ameerah McBride

The institutional equity office — formally affirmative action — is now offering Title IX training to all faculty and staff here at K-State. Title IX is the federal law that requires colleges and universities to investigate allegations of sexual violence and to educate students, faculty and staff on the Title IX resources available to them.

Faculty and staff are able to log in to the self-service section of HRIS and register for the training. The next course will be at 9 a.m. Monday, April 14, in Room 226 of the K-State Student Union. All supervisors, department heads, directors and administrators are strongly encouraged to attend. If you have any questions about this training please contact our office.
