Tyler Jelinek Accepts Position at the Advanced Manufacturing Institute

(Manhattan, Kan. October 18, 2010) – Tyler Jelinek has accepted the position of associate engineer for the Advanced Manufacturing Institute at Kansas State University.

In this role, Jelinek is responsible for design, testing and analysis on product design, machine design and design verification projects for industrial clients and university researchers.

"Tyler participated in our student intern program and we were very impressed with his design and engineering skills, creativity and ability to work on diverse and challenging engineering projects,” said Taylor Jones, chief engineer of the Advanced Manufacturing Institute. “He has worked on projects for Balco, B&W Trailer Hitches, MPL Technologies and Rex Materials Group. His expertise will be an asset to our clients.”

Jelinek has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from K-State.
