Our Next-Gen K-State strategic planning process was designed to focus heavily on engaging all members of our K-State community.

• 8,000+ total faculty, staff, students, parents, employers and alumni survey respondents
• 70+ listening sessions with faculty, staff, students and stakeholders across the institution and campuses
• 9 regional community visits throughout our state to hear from Kansans about the future of K-State
• 100+ members of the K-State community who served on six planning task forces

• The compiled report with the feedback (pdf) received from the university community on the draft strategic plan. Thank you to the more than 300 K-Staters who shared their comments and suggestions.
• The six planning theme task force reports with their recommendations. Thank you to the more than 80 task force members who contributed their time and energy to crafting the draft plan.
• The vision and values statements and our priority planning themes that guided our work throughout the spring.
• The feedback received from the university community (pdf) on the draft K-State vision and values as well as the compiled research report and individual survey reports with inputs and suggestions received during fall 2022. This work informed all phases of the planning process. Thank you to thousands of K-Staters who engaged in our planning through more than 60 listening session and online surveys from students, faculty and staff, alumni, parents and other family members, and employers.
