Alumna Spotlight

Michelle Foster (Spring 2013)


Foster graduated from K-State with B.A.s in Political Science and American Ethnic Studies and minors in Leadership Studies and Women's Studies. Her research was on Latinas/os and the current immigration debate, and she was a CASA (court-appointed special advocate) volunteer. While at K-State, she earned a Garmon Award for Social Justice and a Student Life Outstanding Graduating Senior Award. After graduation, Foster attended law school at Washburn University. She graduated from law school in May 2016 and is now employed by The Law Store, a law-centered corporation that focuses on general practice at a reasonable price in Kansas City, Missouri.  Once she gathers more experience, she hopes to be a guardian ad litem
