HAZWOPER training

Don't miss out on registration for Kansas State University's 8-hour refresher and 40-hour training courses in Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response held this July and January on the K-State campus.

The Hazwoper course is required for anyone working at treatment, storage and disposal facilities (TSDs) and at hazardous waste clean-up sites. The refresher course is designed for individuals who have already completed the 40-hour or 24-hour Hazwoper training and need to be re-qualified. Participants for both events can include faculty and students working with hazardous substances in laboratory or field sites, as well as first responders or industry hazardous materials handlers.

  • 8-Hour Refresher Course: January 10, 2018
  • 40-Hour Training Course: March 21-22, 2018

The courses cover OSHA safety elements and includes a Certificate of Completion. View the brochure for more information. For registration assistance, contact the K-State Global Campus at 785-532-5569.
