Acetic Acid

Chromic acid, nitric acid, hydroxyl containing compounds, ethylene glycol, perchloric acid, peroxides, and permanganates

Acetone

Concentrated sulfuric and nitric acid mixtures

Acetylene

Copper (tubing), fluorine, chlorine, iodine, silver, mercury, and their salts

Ammonium Nitrate

Acids, metal powders, flammable liquids, chlorates, nitrates, sulfur, and finely divided organics or combustibles

Anhydrous Ammonia

Mercury, halogens, calcium hypochlorite, and hydrogen fluoride

Aniline

Nitric acid, hydrogen peroxide

Bromine

Ammonia, acetylene, butadiene, butane, hydrogen, sodium carbide, turpentine, and finely divided metals

Chlorates

Ammonium salts, acids, metal powders, sulfur, finely divided organics or combustibles, and carbon
