Contributing Academic Departments

K-State Department of Agricultural Economics
The Department of Agricultural Economics proudly lives the Kansas State University land-grant mission by serving agriculture and related fields through teaching, research and extension outreach. The department strives to improve economic choices and management decisions of individuals, families, farms, businesses, communities, organizations, and policy makers in areas related to agriculture, food, resources, and economic development.

K-State Department of Finance
The mission of the department of finance is to inspire students to assume leadership in a global, ever changing, and diverse business world. These experiences result from the intellectual scholarship of the faculty both in and out of the instructional environment; a rigorous, relevant, and diverse curriculum; and the support of the department's programs by external stakeholders.

K-State Department of Industrial and Manufacturing Systems Engineering
For more than a half century, the Department of Industrial and Manufacturing Systems Engineering has been preparing engineers to design, analyze and improve production systems. Our graduates use computers, mathematics, science, problem solving, and engineering skills to solve complex business problems. The IMSE department is an ABET accredited program and has a recognized reputation for well-trained graduates. In addition to teaching, our faculty members are actively engaged in research and are recognized internationally for their work.
