One Health Kansas

One Health Kansas is an education and outreach program established with funding from the Kansas Health Foundation. Its goals are to increase awareness of the One Health concept for students at the K-12, undergraduate and graduate levels as well as for professionals in the public health workforce. It also is designed to enhance the educational pipeline in health-related fields and assist in recruiting individuals from underrepresented groups into the public health workforce as broadly defined.

One Health Kansas is highly collaborative, working with established precollege outreach programs, K-12 formal education, undergraduate and graduate programs, and faculty members with aligned research interests to identify points of complementarity and enhance all of these efforts.

To discuss collaboration with One Health Kansas, contact its Program Director, Dr. Beth Montelone by email at bethmont@ksu.edu.
