Diploma Delivery
The Office of the Registrar mails, upon completion of degree requirements, one complimentary diploma.
All financial/academic holds must be cleared before a diploma can be mailed. Check your KSIS Student Center for hold and departmental contact information. (How-to)
Students have 90 calendar days after the end of the semester of graduation to clear holds without delaying the mailing of a diploma. If holds are cleared after such time, students will need to notify the Office of the Registrar to arrange the release and mailing of a diploma. Diplomas will be retained for two years after the graduation date and will then be destroyed. After that time, any request for a diploma by the student will incur all charges associated with ordering a duplicate or replacement diploma.

Diploma Size
The size of diplomas for all degrees is 8.5" x 11", except for the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine which is 11" x 17".
Diploma Authenticity
The diploma is an important symbol of academic achievement. However, K-State does not recommend that the diploma be accepted in lieu of an official transcript or degree verification. If you are presented with a K-State diploma as evidence of a degree, please ask the student for an Official Transcript and/or submit a Third-Party Degree Verification through the National Student Clearinghouse for verification of the document.
