Here are some frequently asked questions to help you learn more about Quest!
What kind of activities will Quest do?
Schedule
Quest sounds exciting but will it take a lot of time from my busy schedule?
No. We are planning to have around 12 activities per semester. There is no course
requirement for Quest and you will never be asked to write, read or research for the group.
However, you can become as involved with Quest as you want. Quest members
will have opportunities vastly different from the average incoming freshman -- but what you
make of those opportunities is your decision. Time spent with members of Quest will
be time well spent with fellow K-Staters and friends.
How Quest associated with Blue Key?
Blue Key is a senior honor society dedicated to promoting and
developing leadership and service skills. Each Quest member will be paired with
Blue Key mentor who will help make your first year at K-State a success, and help you find opportunities to become involved adn grow your leadership skills on campus and in the community. Quest's
co-coordinators, Ryan Wilkerson and Anna Zeiger, are members of the '10 – '11
Blue Key class and two of Quest's advisors, Dr. Pat Bosco (Vice President of Student Life)
and Jackie McClaskey both
serve as Blue Key advisors.
We hope this helps answer some of your questions. If
