Event Parking

Departments and university partners planning an on-campus event must notify Parking Services at least 24 hours in advance. Reservation availability is limited. Event planners should initiate planning by completing a parking permit request form.

Parking Reservations with ParkMobile

The university has partnered with ParkMobile to simplify the parking reservation process, offering greater flexibility for campus guests. With the implementation of a License Plate Recognition system, physical parking permits, such as hangtags, are no longer necessary. Instead, guests will use their license plates as their permits, and the same guidelines apply to all campus visitors. Event planners should remind guests to park in designated stalls where their license plates are visible to Parking Services and facing the drive lane.

After event planners complete one of the parking permit request forms, Parking Services will provide them with a ParkMobile link and instructions to share with their event attendees.

Event planners also have the option to coordinate with Parking Services without using ParkMobile. In this case, departments must collect their guests' license plate information and submit it to Parking Services at least two days prior to the event. Utilizing ParkMobile streamlines the event planning process for both organizers and guests. Event Parking is $6 per day.

Same-Day Access Codes

Parking Services will provide departments with their access codes at the beginning of each semester. These codes can be used for same-day guests and drop-in visitors. Additionally, specific events will have unique access codes to distribute to attendees. Please make sure to formally request event parking as outlined above and use the designated event-specific code for your planned on-campus activities.
