Technical Support Coordinator

The Office of Educational Innovation and Evaluation (OEIE) in Manhattan, KS manages a national nutrition education and Extension evaluation tool called PEARS, and is looking for an additional Technical Support Coordinator to join the team and assist with the continued growth of this endeavor! This position will support program evaluation by providing technical support and training for this and other web-based evaluation tools OEIE develops and maintains. Responsibilities include working with clients such as university faculty and other stakeholders at the state and local level, attending meetings, conferences, and on-site trainings as needed, and working with team members to enhance training and support materials.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma
  • One year of customer service experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in technical writing or writing for marketing
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate technical information well with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in diverse and changing environments
  • Ability to travel and present training in front of audiences
  • Experience providing technical support for a web-based system
  • Experience in application testing
  • Basic understanding of program evaluation

Other Requirements

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at the time of employment

Salary

$33,250 – $51,540

Appointment Conditions

Term 12-month appointment contingent upon continued availability of funding and the need for these services.
