Position Description
Are you passionate about programming? Learn from experienced full-stack web developers and contribute to a growing system used by individuals across the nation.
The Office of Educational Innovation and Evaluation (OEIE) is looking for professional, teachable, and team-oriented aspiring programmers to join our team. This position will be a part of our technology team and will work closely with our development team to build new features, write tests, and fix bugs.
What You'll Do
- Plan, build, and test new system features in collaboration with our close-knit team
- Learn best practices and the latest tools in web application development
- Work on your own MacBook Pro!
- Have fun!
Our Tech Stack
We're looking for students familiar with at least some of these tools and interested in learning the rest.
- Languages: Python, Django, JavaScript / Vue.js
- Dev tools: Git, Docker, OS X, JIRA
- Database: MySQL
Flexible Work Schedule
15-25 hours per week in 2 (or more) hour time blocks from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. 20+ hours preferred. Schedule can be adjusted each semester. Summer work is optional and encouraged - can work 20-40 hours/week during the summer.
