Manhattan Tornado Update on K-State TV, Web

K-State TV, cable channel 8, aired live tornado response programs 6/12/08 and 6/16/08/. Tornado Update 6/16/08 will replay on K-State TV (Cable Channel 8) throughout this week at 9 a.m., 7 p.m., and 10 p.m. daily.

The program is simulcast in partnership with KMAN, and features exclusive aerial footage. Guests for the program include Gary Fees, City Clerk, Pat Collins, Riley County Director of Emergency Services, Terri Seirer-Becker, Director of Disaster Services from Pawnee Mental Health, Teresa Bardwell, Salvation Army, Joel Brinker, tree removal company, and a regional disaster specialist from insurance provider. Ron Frank, K-State Research and Extension and Red Cross Disaster volunteer, will moderate the program which will provide important information about what is currently happening following last week's tornado.

Exclusive aerial footage of the June 11 tornado damage in Manhattan was featured, as well as information from city and county officials, and other city agency representatives. 83 minutes.
