The K-State African Ensemble is dedicated to sharing traditional African music and dance through performance and workshops. The African Ensemble focuses on cultural appreciation and performance of traditional social dances and music of West Africa. The directors of the ensemble have studied music and dance from master teachers in Africa and the United States. Participants in this group have the opportunity to sing, dance, play the traditional instruments, and wear traditional costumes for performances on campus and in the community. For information on joining this group, contact Neil Dunn.
Spring 2020 dates will be posted at a later date.
