Police are continuing to investigate and expect to have a statement by 4 p.m.

K-State Police have concluded preliminary investigation and released the scene for normal operations. Anyone with information, should call 785-532-6412 or send information to the silent witness website or through the Live Safe app. Police will give an update by 4 p.m. if there is additional information available.
12:08 p.m.
Police have confirmed that shots were fired in the parking lot north of the KSU Foundation Building, which is north of the Manhattan campus. Again, there are no injuries reported and police are investigating.
11:51 a.m.
There is no ongoing threat. KSU Foundation employees may resume business as usual but the public should continue to avoid the scene so police can investigate.
11:37 a.m.
K-State Police are on scene and are investigating. No injuries are reported. Please stay clear of the area so officers can investigate the incident.
11:15 a.m.
K-State Police have received a report of shots fired near the KSU Foundation Building at Denison and Kimball. Those in the area should shelter in place and everyone else should stay clear of the area. Additional information will be provided as it becomes available.
