Set sail for 'Anything Goes' Oct. 30 at McCain Auditorium

Monday, Oct. 20, 2014

MANHATTAN
— Cole Porter's musical comedy "Anything Goes" is sailing to the McCain Auditorium stage, thanks to Kansas State University's McCain Performance Series, at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 30.

"Anything Goes" is the winner of three 2011 Tony Awards, including Best Musical Revival and Choreography.

When the S.S. American heads out to sea, etiquette and convention are tossed out the portholes as two unlikely pairs set off on the course to true love — proving that sometimes destiny needs a little help from a crew of singing sailors, an exotic disguise and blackmail. Throughout the musical are some of theatre's most known songs, including "I Get a Kick Out of You," "You're the Top" and "Anything Goes."

Tickets for Anything Goes" start at $17.50, plus applicable taxes and fees, and are available now at the McCain Auditorium box office, online at http://www.k-state.edu/mccain, or by calling 785-532-6428.
