Panel to discuss climate change, food production:
'CLIMATE CHANGE AND FOOD PRODUCTION' PANEL DISCUSSION, 3 P.M., THURSDAY,
OCT. 22, LITTLE THEATER, K-STATE STUDENT UNION

MANHATTAN -- "Climate Change and Food Production" will be the topic of a panel discussion at 3 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, in the Little Theater of the K-State Student Union on the Kansas State University campus.

Speakers include Chuck Rice, university distinguished professor of agronomy; Andrew McGowan, senior in agronomy and natural resources and environmental sciences, Prairie Village; Scott Staggenborg, professor of cropping systems in agronomy; Mary Rezac, professor of chemical engineering and co-director of the Center for Sustainable Energy; John Harrington, professor of geography; and Telmo Amado, professor of agronomy and soil science at the Federal University of Santa Maria, Brazil.

Ben Champion, K-State director of sustainability, will moderate the panel, which is sponsored by Alpha Zeta.
