K-STATE COLLEGE OF ARCHITECTURE, PLANNING AND DESIGN STUDENTS DISPLAYING WORK DONE DURING SPRING AND SUMMER INTERNSHIPS

MANHATTAN -- Twenty-seven students from Kansas State University's College of Architecture, Planning and Design have their work on display through Oct. 30 in Seaton Hall's Chang Gallery. The work is from their recent internships.

The exhibition is free and open to the public. The Chang Gallery is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays.

At varying points in their academic careers students in the College of Architecture, Planning and Design may opt to participate in paid internships with professional offices in the U.S. and around the world.

The students who have work presently on display performed their internships in spring and summer 2009. Internships acquaint students with some of the expectations and working environments to be found in professional practice.
