MORE THAN 1,300 STUDENTS CANDIDATES FOR GRADUATION FROM K-STATE

MANHATTAN -- Kansas State University has more than 1,300 candidates for graduation in December. Commencement ceremonies were Friday, Dec. 10, and Saturday, Dec. 11, on the K-State campuses in Manhattan and Salina.

More than 1,000 bachelor's degrees, more than 225 master's degrees, about 55 doctoral degrees and more than 10 associate degrees were awarded. Around 30 students were candidates earning multiple degrees.

Candidates for graduation include:

Kentucky

Irvington: Gregory H. Wall, master of science in adult, occupational and continuing education

Louisville: Bradley Michael Bates, master of science in academic advising; Shawn Kalwat, master of arts in security studies
