MEDIA ADVISORY FOR LANDON FORUM WITH JUSTICE SOTOMAYOR

SPEAKER: A forum with U.S. Supreme Court Associate Justice Sonia Sotomayor will be at 3 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 27, in Forum Hall at the Kansas State University Student Union.

NEWS MEDIA PARKING: Please use your K-State media parking pass to park in any nonreserved or nonhandicap student or faculty/staff space at the university. Parking without a pass in a reserved or handicap space can result in a fine or the wheel-locking or towing of your vehicle. If you do not have a media parking pass, please contact K-State news services at media@k-state.edu or 785-532-2535 several days in advance of the forum to arrange for one. Other parking options include the K-State parking garage, 17th Street and Anderson Ave., which costs $1.50 an hour on a space-available basis. Please allow ample time for parking.

POOL VIDEO FEED: No TV or Web cameras will be permitted at the forum. A live digital satellite feed will be available at the following coordinates:

NEWS MEDIA SEATING: Seating for media will be reserved and credentials are required. An audio distribution box will be available. All media must remain in their seats during the forum; no roaming will be allowed.

CREDENTIALS: Please contact news services by 5 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 25, at media@k-state.edu or 785-532-2535 to arrange for forum credentials. Media members without credentials will not be allowed into the forum. Credential information required includes name, media outlet, phone number and e-mail.

TV BROADCAST: The forum will be carried live on K-State TV, which is channel 8 on campus and on Cox Cable in Manhattan and Junction City.

WEB ACCESS: Live video and audio streams of the forum will be available at http://www.k-state.edu/landon.

NO MEDIA AVAILABILITY will be offered.
