MANHATTAN -- Interested in a career in business or the hospitality industry? Then Kansas State University is the place to be Tuesday, Feb. 22, for the Business and Hospitality Career Fair.

Verizon Wireless, Cerner, Darden Restaurants Inc., Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City, GTM Sportswear, Target, Hyatt, Koch Industries and Hy-Vee are among the more than 50 employers who will be on hand to discuss full-time positions and internships. The fair runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the K-State Student Union Ballroom.

Students and alumni from all majors are welcome to attend the fair. Attendees are encouraged to dress professionally and bring multiple copies of their resume. Students visiting the fair may be offered an interview, as a number of employers will be taking part in next-day interviews.

Enterprise Rent-A-Car will sponsor a hospitality green room at the fair, where students can stop by for a quick snack or to make last-minute preparations before heading into the fair.

More information on employers attending the fair is at http://www.k-state.edu/ces/students/kstatefairs.htm.

Hosts of the Business and Hospitality Career Fair are K-State's career and employment services, the College of Business Administration and the College of Human Ecology's department of hospitality management and dietetics.
