K-STATE ARCHITECTURE STUDENTS HAVE A HAND IN ORGANIZING DESIGNEXPO 2009

MANHATTAN -- Kansas State University's 2009 Design Expo, the annual career fair of the College of Architecture, Planning and Design, will be 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, Feb. 23, in the K-State Student Union Ballroom.

Employers from across the country -- including from Kansas, California, Colorado, Iowa, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Texas, Utah and Wisconsin -- will be attending the ninth annual fair and are offering full-time opportunities and academic internships. A full listing of employers is available at:

Students from the College of Architecture, Planning and Design who serve on the 2009 DesignExpo planning committee include:

Jason Rivera, third-year architecture student, Andover; Paul Megli, third-year architecture student, Augusta; Russell Ploutz, third-year landscape architecture student, Hutchinson; David Vogel, master's student in landscape architecture, Manhattan; Adam Wagoner, fifth-year architecture student, and Tim Sherman, fifth-year interior architecture and product design student, both of McPherson; Karina Perez-Fajardo, fourth-year architecture student, and Lydia Palma, third-year interior architecture and product design student, both of Topeka; and Daniel Gensch, fifth-year architecture student, Wichita.
