Call for Proposals and Presentations

Deadline Has Passed - Please revisit us soon for Spring 2021 CFP.

Call for Proposals and Presentations:

Come join a vibrant community of transdisciplinary students, scholars, artists, and activists working to make queer lives not only more livable, but bright and vibrant. At Kansas State University, we have students, faculty and staff that are national leaders in queer, transnational identity, women of color feminisms, and antiracist education and scholarship to contribute to a world that is more just.

We cherish the opportunity to welcome a wider part of the Kansas queer community to our campus. Together, we can make change! In pursuit of this liberatory vision, we seek proposals that center queer voices and promote IDEAL - inclusion, diversity, empowerment, authenticity, and leadership. We invite:

  • Individual scholarly/academic presentations or papers
  • Organized panels comprised of 3-5 presenters to address different facets of a shared topic
  • Roundtables
  • Workshops or How-tos
  • Issue-driven community conversations aimed at fostering dialogue among the community in attendance

The deadline for submission of proposals is 11:59 pm, Monday, September 20th, 2021, Central Time. If you have any questions, please email
