Responsibilities

I assist in the coordination of a few student programs: Academic Mentors, HandsOn Kansas State, and Snyder Leadership Legacy Fellows. My goal is to ensure that our programs are providing students with opportunities to grow and learn, and to support our student coordinators in their leadership development through these rolls. I love being able to connect with students on different levels while providing programs that are designed to serve and engage!

Coordinate the Academic Mentors Program and connect with site coordinators
Assist with coordination of HandsOn Kansas State and engage with community partners
Provide assistance to the director of the Snyder Leadership Legacy Fellows program by engaging with program Fellows and leadership Coaches, and student focused programming.

More about me

I love to spend time running around with my toddler, Maia, and husband, Misael. We enjoy being outside, watching movies, and visiting family in SW Kansas! You can probably find me at the gym taking some time to focus on myself and my health. I have loved my time at K-State and have had been fortunate to work in the Office of First-Generation Students, McNair Scholars Program, and Office of Recruitment and Admissions. I am also a proud first-generation college graduate!
