The meeting was called to order in Rathbone Hall 274, at 7:04 P.M.

The minutes from the previous meeting were not read.

UNFINISHED BUSINESS - OPEN HOUSE

Bill Kuhn, KO4MH reported on his checks on the faulty COR circuit board from the WØQQQ 2m repeater. The work is still in progress. Bill says that the COR board could not be the source of the tone heard intermittently of late.

NEW BUSINESS

Norm Dillman, NØJCC reported on the NØTOK 2m repeater. Roger Carrender has repaired the damaged finals. The repeater has been on an emergency power supply. Norm is looking into options, including a suitable battery charger.

There was discussion on SSTV. Norm reported that the Kenwood VC-H1 SSTV modem is now owned half by him and half by the KSUARC.

There was discussion on APRS (Auto Packet Reporting System). The system can be used with a GPS receiver so that the position of the owner can be automatically reported. This has applicability to storm spotting, among other things. A packet modem such as the club's Kantronics KPC3 is often used with this set-up.

The meeting was adjourned at 7:50 P.M.

David Yoder, KAØJPM
secretary-treasurer
