Minutes - February 3, 2004

The meeting was called to order in 274 Rathbone Hall by President Mike Spottswood, KCØIWH at 7:07 P.M.

Mike, KCØIWH, David, KAØJPM, Allen, WF5U and Mark, KCØQAS were present.

Since there is no longer a third Tuesday meeting, the election that normally occurs in January was held at this meeting. A slate of officers was nominated, as follows:

President, Mike Spottswood, KCØIWH
Secretary-Treasurer, David Yoder, KAØJPM
Station Manager, Dr. Bill Kuhn, KO4MH
Activities Manager, Mark Benfer, KCØQAS

The individuals above were all elected. Their one-year terms began immediately.

It was proposed that Echolink be incorporated into the WØQQQ 2m repeater. No cost would be involved, if this writer understands correctly, as it would be based out of Allen Busiek's apartment.

Former adviser Dr. Doris Grosh, KØDLG, has made a Butternut HF6V vertical antenna available to the club. The club is interested, and will pursue this.

The WØQQQ license will expire on August 24, 2004. We are unable to take action yet, as the FCC only allows renewals within 90 days of expiration.

The meeting ended at approximately 9:21 P.M., after a record rag chew.

David Yoder, KAØJPM
secretary-treasurer
