KSUFR vs. Truman State

Summary: The KSUFR Rugby club was able win this Sunday afternoon game, holding off a comeback from Truman State in the final moments. K-State scored first with a try from Henry Falk, followed by a try by Kenny Scott and a conversion by Joe D'Agistino. Truman State answered back with a try and conversion of their own. K-State continued their lead with an additional try by Jesse Dull and another conversion by Joe D'Agistino. However, Truman also scored one more try before half. At the end of the first half, K-State led 19-12. Truman came out strong in the first half, driving down the field early. K-State held them at the tryline, but a fight errupted, leading to a player ejection for K-State. With K-State playing with only 14 players, Truman quickly scored a try and conversion. K-State answered back with a try by Cameron Fregon, and again when Joe D'Agistino kicked for points. Truman was able to score one more try, and very nearly won the game with a drive in the final moments of the game. However, K-State was able to hold the ball up during an attempted try by Truman. In the end, K-State won the game 27-24.
