Use Find to Locate an Advisee
Find is a function that enables advisors to quickly locate an advisee in their My Advisees list. This is especially helpful when advisors have many advisees.
Steps:
- Login to KSIS with your eID and password at https://ksis.k-state.edu.
- Select the KSU Advisor Center from the KSIS Links on the right side of the KSIS home page.
- The My Advisees list is displayed.
- Click Find located on the far right of the My Advisees list header bar.
- A pop-up dialog box will appear.
- Enter a full or partial name of an advisee you wish to find.
- Click OK to continue, or Cancel to abort.
- Find locates the first advisee matching the search string. The related row in the table will be a dark grey.
- Multiple Finds using the same search string starts the selection from the currently found row and finds the next advisee matching the search string.
Note:
- The search is performed against the Name column.
- The search is case-insensitive.
- The search starts from the currently selected row in the grid.
