FIS - Financial Information System

FIS, Financial Information Systems, is what K-State calls its Oracle E-Business Suite software that K-State uses for its central financial system.

It is used by the Division of Financial Services to process University transactions, handle grant-related functions, and simply to track the University’s money.

It interfaces with several other systems including the State of Kansas’ financial system, KSIS to process and write student refund checks, the budget system, HR and eForms to process travel expenses, payment transfers, Facilities purchase orders, departmental billing, etc. Daily reports and month-end statements are provided in a web-based fashion to departmental users.

FIS is the one place for all central fiscal information for Kansas State University.

Contact details for this system available on the ISO Staff Directory
