DARS
DARS (Degree Audit Reporting System) was fully introduced to students and faculty/staff in 2000. The system is widely used by students, advisors, faculty and administrative staff. A DARS report includes all course work taken, both at K-State and at other institutions, and shows where those courses fit in each student’s degree program, enabling both students and advisors to see a student’s progress toward a given degree. The DARS reports are available in either PDF or HTML format. System-generated audits are produced weekly for each currently enrolled student. ‘What-if’ DARS reports are also available to facilitate change of major decisions. DARS interfaces with KSIS (student system) and the HTML Audits provide a direct link to Acalog (electronic undergraduate catalog).
